Life In A New Habitat - by Tairis


Dear Diary,

WOW! You won't believe what happened to me. I was just having a little nap and I suddenly heard a snap, I felt like something was watching me, so I stood up and I was ready to run.

BANG!!! I got shot at. I fell asleep and when I woke up, I suddenly noticed that I was in this hard grey box (cage), but I couldn't get out. I tried to kick, but it didn't work, I tried to push and it didn't work again. I had nothing to eat or drink, had no friends, I was stuck there forever. Suddenly I saw these two legged creatures (humans), they looked very weird. They were talking about putting me in this zoo, I was afraid of them, so I went back to sleep.

When I woke up again, I was being carried in the box, the box opened, the light blinded me and I couldn't see anything, I could smell food so I crawled towards it, it was trees of berries. I can see again, I saw other animals like me. I asked one of them where was I, "you're in this wonderful place called a zoo." (The animal that I was talking to) "is there a way I can get out of here. Not exactly but come with me, let me show you the basics of living life in a new habitat at the zoo." I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay at the zoo but I went with him anyway. After that happened, I felt like I wanted to stay at the zoo but I was still worried about home. "If there is no way of getting out of here, then I'll stay." I said. So stayed at the zoo for a long time until I grew old and died.

My Amazing Camp Experience

Camp "Wake up" yelled mum, so I rushed to school, I grabbed my bags and headed off. Minutes later I had arrived and we travelled down to Camp Adair. As soon as we had reached our destination, we all unpacked our bags and we all gathered to announce our cabin groups. Raisins Record By Alisha.

Hi I'm Alisha and as you can tell by my title I will be telling you about my schools raisins blowing record. So the day before we did the blowing challenge our principle told us we will be getting raisins. That was the day we got raisins but we weren't gonna eat them or play with the box yet. Then the next day in the afternoon we went to go on the main court and we had to meet the kids can people like one girl named Sophie. We were told that we had to break the WORLD RECORD for the LOUDEST whistle blowing with the raisins boxes. The country that we needed to beat was Great Britain and we did just carry on reading. The we were told that we will be on camera and not ordinary camera TV OMG it was so cool. Then we were getting filmed while we were blowing with the boxes then we got to throw our raisins in the air and whenever we get one throw it in the air it was so fun. Plus we got to know that we broke the WORLD RECORD OMG its so cool we beat Great Britain.
