B7 2018

There was a buzzing vibe of excitement last Monday at Finlayson Park School. Earlier in the week the students from B7 were preparing for an interview; three tall players from the Chiefs rugby team arrived: Mitchell Graham, Toni Pulu, and Fin Hoeata. The interviewing team Alonzo, Chase, Devine and Violet of B7, were feeling scared and nervous. Afterwards around 2pm that afternoon the interviewing panel marched down to the office with Whaea Teagan. Once back at B7, the students took charge. They were nervous and excited. The interviews asked them questions which will be on Chiefs TV. We asked them questions about injuries and they said they got a surgeries for their leg we also about food and nutrition and they said they will back away from KFC and McDonalds.   Before leaving to go back to Hamilton, Mitchell Graham offered the class some patu, flags and rugby balls. Earlier in the week the students from B7 were preparing for an interview with some of the players from the amazing Rugby team the Chiefs. Eventually around 2pm that afternoon the interviewing panel marched down to the office with their teacher to meet the visiting player’s manager Andrea and cameraman Steve. The players that were involved were Fin Hoeata, Mitchell Graham, and Toni Pulu. Meanwhile, back at class there was a crazy vibe before the Chiefs came. Everybody was screaming like Justin Bieber was there. The questions we asked were about food and nutrition, and motivation. Chase asked, “We have seen some of your training videos on Chiefs TV – it looks intense! How long do you guys train in the gym for?”   Mitchell answered 6am to 2pm. Earlier in the week the students of B7 were preparing for an interview with some players from the Chiefs rugby team. The players were Mitchell Graham, Toni Pulu and Fin Hoeata. The interviewing team are the B7 students. Afterwards around 2pm that afternoon the interviewing panel marched down to the office with their teacher to meet the visiting players from the Chiefs rugby team, and the manager Andrea and cameraman Steve. Once back in B7 the Students took charge. In true fashion the students were screaming when they saw the Chiefs around the corner. Before leaving to go back to Hamilton, Fin, Mitchell and Toni offered to sign and hand out some Chiefs merchandise.
