My plate Food guide
Hi, my name
is Jalierus. In B4 we are learning about Healthy Lifestyles and I am going to tell you about My Plate Food Guide. My plate food guide is filled with
vegetables, fruits, grains, protein, and a side order of dairy. And did
you know that the grains section is bigger than the protein section so that
means that you need to eat more grains than protein, and you need to eat
vegetables more than fruits. Why? because there is sweet sugar in it but it is a natural kind of sugar and vegetables have vitamins and minerals.
What is a
grain again?
Grains can
be in: Bread, cereal, rice, tortillas, and pasta.
You know
your plate can be used for breakfast, a snack, lunch, and dinner.
My Plate Food Guide is very healthy for all people.
