My Fantastic Spelling

Hi folks, today I am going to tell you how we did our spelling last week to practice some of our spelling words.

 First we studied our spelling and vocabulary words so we could be ready to spell them. 
Then we got organised into two lines down the sides of the room - we did girls vs boys. Our teacher called out a word for us to spell and we had to get it right in order to shoot the paper ball into the basket to get points. When we threw the ball we had to choose our starting line that says 5 points, 10 points and 100 points. If we got the paper ball in the basket we would that number of points for our team. 
That was so frustrating because it was so hard to spell the words, and trying to throw the paper ball into the basket.

    Hi Maranique! That sounds like such a cool game. I always found spelling hard when I was at school, and I wish my teachers had let us play a game like that. I will have to try it out in Room 2 to see if they like it too, and maybe it will even help them with their spelling words. Do you remember who ended up winning in the end?

    Hello Maranique, I liked the way you did your spelling in your class. I wish we can do our spelling like that. How many points did you get? Oh and by the way our teacher is reading my comment and she might let us do it. This is Mrs Vaevae (Tiana-Rose's teacher and maybe.......)

My Amazing Camp Experience

Camp "Wake up" yelled mum, so I rushed to school, I grabbed my bags and headed off. Minutes later I had arrived and we travelled down to Camp Adair. As soon as we had reached our destination, we all unpacked our bags and we all gathered to announce our cabin groups. Hi readers,  So I am writing about the play my class and I went to at Jean Batten School... lets get started.  The play was about a little girl named Olivia. Raisins Record By Alisha.

Hi I'm Alisha and as you can tell by my title I will be telling you about my schools raisins blowing record. So the day before we did the blowing challenge our principle told us we will be getting raisins. That was the day we got raisins but we weren't gonna eat them or play with the box yet. Then the next day in the afternoon we went to go on the main court and we had to meet the kids can people like one girl named Sophie. We were told that we had to break the WORLD RECORD for the LOUDEST whistle blowing with the raisins boxes. The country that we needed to beat was Great Britain and we did just carry on reading. The we were told that we will be on camera and not ordinary camera TV OMG it was so cool. Then we were getting filmed while we were blowing with the boxes then we got to throw our raisins in the air and whenever we get one throw it in the air it was so fun. Plus we got to know that we broke the WORLD RECORD OMG its so cool we beat Great Britain.
