Incredible Manukau Polyfest Trip - by Aretaseta



In the exciting morning I packed my money and my lunch when I packed it all my Dad said” have a good day at the polyfest .When I went to school we had a reminder to respect and use our common sense then we had a quick lunch. After that we had to get some work about our favourite performance then we went on the bus the first four had to sit at the back had to be me when we got there.

 My teacher said we have to split and to come back to the place that we were sitting then of we go to the  Flava. We had to get a tattoo to play street fighter I did not get a tattoo because I went to get me one of those watermelon ice cream it was so DELICIOUS! My tummy was filled with yumminess after they played we moved on then there was a game where you had the throw the ball through the hole to get a prize.

 I did not get a turn because I was eating my water melon ice cream then we took a terrific photo with a police man hat the time I finished my watermelon ice cream then I washed my face and took a photo all of them were wearing an actual police costume. Next we learnt about worm farm then I went to get a pork bun it was so delicious then I went back to them and they were playing then something went walking to us and it was NAMRATA!.  When Namrata said what happened Whaea Teagan rang her Mum. Whaea Teagan said to meet at the AUT sign.


 When we met it was near the toilet and went to wash my hands after that we went to the diversity stage. There were Indians and African performing it was hot but the performance were good. Next there were free popcorn to taste there were caramel butter and coconut then Whaea Teagan bought coconut popcorn.

      Hi Jazzlyn it sure was a lot of fun and the watermelon ice was big it cost 7$ there were so much details in that ice cream

My Amazing Camp Experience

Camp "Wake up" yelled mum, so I rushed to school, I grabbed my bags and headed off. Minutes later I had arrived and we travelled down to Camp Adair. Raisins Record By Alisha.

Hi I'm Alisha and as you can tell by my title I will be telling you about my schools raisins blowing record. So the day before we did the blowing challenge our principle told us we will be getting raisins. That was the day we got raisins but we weren't gonna eat them or play with the box yet. Then the next day in the afternoon we went to go on the main court and we had to meet the kids can people like one girl named Sophie. We were told that we had to break the WORLD RECORD for the LOUDEST whistle blowing with the raisins boxes. The country that we needed to beat was Great Britain and we did just carry on reading. The we were told that we will be on camera and not ordinary camera TV OMG it was so cool. Then we were getting filmed while we were blowing with the boxes then we got to throw our raisins in the air and whenever we get one throw it in the air it was so fun. Plus we got to know that we broke the WORLD RECORD OMG its so cool we beat Great Britain.
